leland
I have a downdraft gas kiln that works great in reduction on most everything except shino's or gold lusters. I have a stable glaze recipe I got from the art center I studied at. l I do a body reduction at cone 010 for an hour and a glaze reduction at cone 9 for about 45 minutes I shut down when cone 10 is down. All my pieces come out a creamy with no variation in the color. Totally a drag...... I got this kiln to fire shino's. I like come creamy shino's with carbon trap but not like the ones from my kiln. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks
