I replaced a part on my slab roller from Bailey's. I use Clayworld in San Antonio (240 miles away) or Armadillo in Austin (320 miles away). I hear many online ceramic supply companies buy from Paragon and don't even store many of their products on their own. Forum members' preferences, feedback, and expertise were helpful as were most of the retailers i contacted. I found it well worth the time to do the "cross-walk" of detail work for side-by-side comparison of prices, shipping and other variables. I saved $hundreds by doing this. No disappointments and I could not say I prefer this one-over that one-since it really depends on the supplies and the different factors involved. They also are one of the few US suppliers of premixed Botz German low fire glazes which I am in love with right now. A fellow potter turned me on to Rusty Kiln in North Windham, CT. They carry Laguna clays and glazes at reasonable prices, and if you live in CT they deliver directly to your door. PSC Posted January 3, 2015 Report Share Posted January 3, 2015 I use axners and bennetts cause they are down here in florida, if i need it fast bennetts is super fast for me cause i am only 3 hours away so if i order before noon i usually have it before noon the next day even tho it is not sent express.
