Mark C.
What is the specific name of the slip?Anything printed on container? What makes you think its is porcelain slip? Details will help us.Are they just off white when dry or another color? Mark
PeterH
Something similar happened to me after I Darvan'ed a mis-behaving batch of porcelain slip, also staining the moulds slightly. Maybe I over did the Darvan, or had kept the Darvan too long. Maybe bisque one to see if it burns out (mine did). Preferably in a well vented kiln! Marcia Selsor
I think it is the deflocculants in the slip that Is turning brown. I have seen that happen with commercial slips. I agree that it should fire out white. Marcia
neilestrick
Yes, that's just the deflocculants. It will be fine when you fire it.
