My noborigama is "Kawagama".  The anagama we just built at the college is "Fushigigama".

Sometimes I call my other stuff names........ but those can't be put on here.  ;)

Those are awesome names, Baymore! I want to fire stuff in your kiln. :)

HAHAHA, Mug!! ^_^ Well, if it makes you feel better, Fred got his name from a very kind and generous person. :) I call him my "grumpy old man" because he was built in '93-'95 and makes a lot of noises and bumping sounds when he cools down, like he's complaining about his arthritis or something... :D I love my Fred!

No names but I'm not much on naming, I don't even like nick names for people, but I am probably just a stick in the mud.

Heh... my wife and I have been married for over 20 years and dated for 7 before that... we've always called each other by our first names. Never "dear," or "honey," or anything like that. I can't even remember doing it sarcastically. I guess we're sticks in the mud, too. If I call someone by a nickname, it's because it's the name they preferred to be called by, and I've never given someone a nickname.

I don't name my equipment. Unless you count "bisque kiln" and "glaze kiln" as naming. :)

I'll confess to having named only one item in the studio.  The old Creative Industries wheel that I still use is named "The Budget".  It simply sounds better to my non-clay-co-workers at my university gig when I say, "I'm going home to work on The Budget".

Haha, my in studio dehumidifier is named "the professor" because we set him up in front of ware to dry it, so it looks like he's standing up in front of a class.

We took it a step further and gave him a mustache and monocle too... Lol

Certain finished ceramic pieces get names too, but they're never flattering. ;) there was sonofab*tch the flower pot, and dumb little brother the traveler mug...

Definitely other. . . My very first car was named, "Cream Puff", because it only had 33,000 actual miles on it when I bought it in 1970 for $150 from a little old lady.  So?  It was a 1951 Plymouth!  The connection to clay?  I drove it to ceramics class when I was a senior in college.
