Babs
Had a bleep in applying onglaze decoration, tested the oxides but neglected to stir frequently enough. It's onto a Majolica glaze, just want to heighten the colour.... Any dream paste/sticker to mix with the colour to make it adhere prior to refiring? Small patches, petals, flat and vretical surfaces. Thanks.

Babs
Thanks Min will investigate, how could I live witout it!! Wonder what the ingredients are?? It's an acrylic emulsion and I'm hoping that the Porcelain enhancer I have found at Ceramic and Craft is the one, retailing at $21.95 for 2 oz it better be special, wondering if something out of my daughter's acrylic painting stash is a similar product?? Babs
I reckon I could pay the shipping to Oz and still be in front! Art and Craft stuff in Oz is super expensive! Thanks Mark and Min Aus $21.95 for 2oz don't know the exchange rate right now but Shipping would only be about $10.00 so still in front. The fact that it is in oz weight prob means it is imported with big mark up. Like IT stuff we pay heaps more here for same products. Pays to stir.. Min
I found they work best if there is some clay in what you are trying to thicken. On Marks link it does say it works with stains, maybe a base coat of AptII then your overglaze on top of that if it doesn't contain clay?
Babs
Just opened kiln after refiring pots described above. I had not ordered Ceramic Enhancer, todo list, but someone wanted a berry bowl and these were my didaster. I had success with mixing the oxide blend with CMC powder and added hot water to make a thick syrup like stuff. It worked a treat... painted onto the glazed surface, did not drip/run and the result is just what I would have acheived if I'd stirred in the first place!! Yes!
