bciskepottery
A friend uses Moonwhite for salt firing and loves it; it is her new "go-to" clay body. She also uses a lot of Highwater Phoenix.
clay lover
I used it, but quit because the grainy particles, sort of like ground up pencil erasers, caused problems with carving and detail work. I switched to Tucker's MCS, ^6. Don't like Little Loafers, too slimy.
oldlady
they were making little loafers too wet for a time. i think all the complaints got them back on track, it is fine now. when it was "slimy" it was more like peanut butter, you could not touch it without getting it all over your hands and it felt icky. fortunately, that is over. Kasumi_Goto
I will use it on occasions to fire salt but it's not a habit. I am pleased with the effect though.

clay lover
Maybe it's time to try LL again, I'm paying WAY more for the Tuckers.
Wyndham
Moon White fires more refractory than I like. I'd have to go to 10 + or 11 to get what I like at 9-10 gas reduction Wyndham
