I'm traveling through the Kansas City area next week and need to buy some cone 10 and cone 6 clay.  I will be in Blue Springs, Independence and Kansas City near the airport, Is there anyone out there familiar with these areas that can give me the name of a Clay Supplier.   Thanks so much..  Bajamary

Bracker's, which has been around for years, opened a "will-call" pickup center on the Missouri side of KC last month... if you know what you want, you can place your order the day before and then pick it up there.  http://shop.brackers...BrackersKC.aspx

16 miles from Blue Springs, 5 miles from Independence.  (Bracker's main shop is about an hour away if you have time and want to browse.)

I have only been to Brackers but KC yellow pages show a new supplier CRANE YARD CLAY that sounds interesting.  It's location doesn't look that far from Blue Springs,  it looks like you hop on highway 10 west into the center of KC.  I would call them for exact directions and hours or they may have it online..  Denice

Thanks so much for the help.  I knew about Brackers, but not the new will call function.  That makes is doable.  Also will check out Crane Yard Clay, your right I don't think it is to far from my Aunt's in Blue Springs.  Bajamary

I have been using Crane Yard for a couple years now.  Very nice people and good service.  I have only been there a couple times because they will deliver to me (2 hours away) for free when they bring out big orders for large buyers.  Make sure you get good directions since the shop is a little difficult to find.
