Mark369
Using carbon paper to transfer images to bisque. Having trouble keeping them covered with glaze. When fired the glaze moves off line leaving it exposed. Any suggestions?
Min
Some carbon / graphite paper has wax and or other binders, sounds like the one you are using does and it's acting as a resist to the glaze. Look for a wax and binder free transfer paper like this one: http://www.dickblick.com/products/saral-wax-free-transfer-paper/ It you use one of the coloured ones I would test it to check no colour is left after firing. Callie Beller Diesel
Powdered graphite rubbed on to the back of the image to be transferred works, as well. A little goes a looooong way:)
