cretarome Posted May 15, 2014 Report Share Posted May 15, 2014 There are still spaces available for this summer's workshop that Misty Gamble will be teaching, entitled, 'Reverie, Rome and the Self Referential Bust' at C.R.E.T.A. Rome from June 8th - June 21st. During this workshop Misty will work with participants in a shared studio to create a once fired clay sculpture that explores different hand building techniques and surface treatments as well as focusing on academic proportions vs expressive and ideal representation. Accompanied by a seasoned Art Historian/Archeologist we will visit cultural and artistic sites to examine and discuss Roman sculpture dating from the Renaissance to the modern era.
