Chris Campbell
There's a juried show reception? No one has mentioned it to me, the juror.
Marcia Selsor
I probably assumed that since we never had a whole Potters Council before. That's exciting. I wondered why it was so big! Marcia

Chris Campbell
Most NCECA attendees are in jeans and sweaters ... or khakis and shirts ... any one of a hundred variations of casual. Anyone in a shirt and tie is lost from another convention. : - ) Funny story ... When NCECA was in Baltimore the convention next door was the Mary Kay ladies. It was not difficult to spot who was with each convention ... Hmmm ... That also happened in Seattle when Comicon was next door and we looked like the uptight ones! bciskepottery
Given the popularity of one of the Green Bay Packer's linebackers, a tee-shirt that says "I Play with Clay" would likely sell out in a heartbeat. Print 'em up; take the money and run.
Marcia Selsor
Rain and snow showers on Wednesday next week in Milwaukee with the low around 27. Not really cold enough for long johns. Marcia
Guest JBaymore
Not really cold enough for long johns. For people who spent their lives in MONTANA. What about the Floridians, Georgians, and Carolina-ans? Evelyne Schoenmann
You guys are too funny I already regret not being there myself. But there is no arguing with fear of flying.... John, I would pay money to see you in the silver lined, slit up gown!! Shoes or no shoes, who cares....
Chris Campbell
I imagine the mystery airline event currently underway is not helping you conquer your fears of flying! I guess it's time to start getting organized for the trip .... cups for charity, earrings for trades, stuff to pack and hope to see in one piece later on. Still have not decided if not packing boots is just begging for snow .....
Marcia Selsor
I am trying to decide that too. Lowest temp will be 10. Snow and rain predicted for thursday. Tough call. Marci

I would't wear snow boots- the snow will be minimal in acumulation with the temps above 40, everything is going to be melty and gross.
