bciskepottery
Not too long ago we had the story of a wife charged with murdering her husband by striking him on the noggin with a coffee mug (I believe she was acquitted). Now, the season of silliness has returned with this startling tale of a wife (hope this is not a trend) assaulting her husband with a ceramic squirrel. The story does not mention if the weapon was a mass-produced "Saturday Night Special" or was hand-crafted. Regardless, we need to make sure our pottery is not (mis)used in the commission of a felony and need to remind our customers that we make pottery for peace, not war. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/12/27/22075945-sc-woman-charged-with-stabbing-husband-with-a-ceramic-squirrel?lite

Chris Campbell
I have a cat sculpture/door stop that I made in about year two of my pottery life that could be deadly. Should I get it registered??
Babs
Perhaps we should all make our handles stronger!! When some one enters your booth and asks, yeh again, what would you use this for? Then take the duct tape off your brain and give the above examples
