Do you ever see everyday items that seem like they would be fun to make out of clay?  Name a common item you would love to make out of clay.  Functional or nonfunctional.

I wish I could make crochet hooks, but I know they would probably snap from weakness or shatter when dropped.

I already built a rammed earth studio out of red clay in Huntley, Montana 1977. Maybe a house out of cob.

I have made grills and medallions that look like wrought iron out of Laguna"s brown clay that turns black when fired to C6 and also some ceiling medallions.    Denice

a portable fire pit. though the clay i have available just can't handle the quick heating and cooling


Practice, practice, practice. Then when you think you've practiced enough, the real practice begins.
