Wheel Won't Stop

Recommended Posts

I was gifted a harbor freight wheel.

It recently won't stop when letting pedal go.

This wheel has low hours on it..... Granted it is a harbor freight product.

It actually looks like it slows down about to stop the goes into "coast"mode turning slowly.

I banged the pedal a bit incase something was stuck but still not working.

Wheel was outside. "Plen aire" throwing demos at a art fair. The power source we were using was had a very sensitive GFI. And circuit tripped frequently. My wheel has a GFI built in.

I have a feeling something is wonky with pedal.

Any ideas before I crack the pedal hosing?

I no little to nothing about electronics....... Please help,!

This guy in

, has a wheel that keeps on going and going. He looks happy. Why do you want your wheel to stop?

:)

There's probably a small child down in the hole under his wheel making that thing go. And I'm only partially being sarcastic here. I once saw a video of an Indian potter where his young son sat next to the fly wheel all day and turned it with his hands while his dad made pots above him. We've got it easy here, folks.

LOL, right. I actually deleted part of my comment about wife running circles in the basement, before I posted.

India is not your nor my home, so why is it our business, how they live there? Do you really think they consider it normal, what is happening here, in so called civilized world? Trust me, they do not. ;)

I was in no way being critical of their techniques or lifestyle. Just pointing out how easy we have it here.
