Does Clay Times Mag Still Exist?

Recommended Posts

(Wasn't sure in which forum this should be located.)

I realize the publication is only quarterly now, but the last issue I received and the last issue pictured on their Web site is the Winter/Spring issue from last year. By "quarterly" do they mean, um, once a year?

I haven't received a response from them via e-mail or phone, so wonder if they've gone under? With apologies if this is old news.

http://www.claytimes.com/ Looks like the mag still is kicking, and that the next edition has some interesting stuff to peruse. I think I received the last issue this summer, have to go through the stack.  I enjoy Clay Times like Pottery Making, it seems more of a 60's Ceramics Monthly, more on technique and process than the new and improved Monthly that is more on knowledge base and aesthetics. There is so much going on out there with new potters stretching their mediums that I really enjoy the how's.

Good to hear you received an issue this summer! Maybe mine got lost in the mail.

I do love this magazine and hope it hasn't gone away. The fact that the Web site is still running and there's at least an answering machine message when you call is promising. Just wish someone would get back to me after I contact them. The fact that they haven't done so is, well, not promising.

So far this year Clay Times has published three issues. You may have received a reply from Clay Times, but Gmail could have sent it to the spam folder. I check my spam folder every couple of weeks and usually find one or two valid emails there. (My Paragon email address is hosted by Gmail.)
