La Meridiana is a fabulous place to stay and learn, and just enjoy the experience. we'll be making a freestanding architectural work, a fountain, and people of all skill levels are welcome. we'll be firing the work in the wood kiln at the end of week 2, as well a touring some local towns such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo and Siena. It will be a small group. There are a few spaces left. hope to see you there!

Here are some pics from our Architectural ceramics workshop at la Meridiana June 2014. This shows a little of the construction process, the final product with our group and an accidental run in with a Medieval celebration in San Gimignano on Sunday, Santa Fina's Feast Day.Our group included people from Singapore, Israel, Australia, California, New Mexico and Georgia.

Great cross section of clay people with different backgrounds. And definitely a hands on workshop.
