Tony Clennell and I ( Chris Campbell ) are ready to welcome you all to my week long, hands on colored clay workshop.

In addition to the wonderfulness of the location, the cheerfulness of the staff ... you will also learn as much as you want to know about using Mason Stains to color clay, using the Skinner technique to blend secondary colors  ( or should I say colours? ), making patterns and images from the resulting colors, creating vessels from them and using them for decoration. We will be firing every day so you will get daily doses of eye candy. It is possible to throw colored clay, so you can try your hand at that too. If you are attending this workshop I encourage you to bring any designs or images you would like to create with colored clay!

I am very excited to present this workshop in my childhood stomping grounds, with my favorite Canadian potter buds .... so come and join the fun!

The sign ups have started in earnest, so if you want to attend .... Now is the time to grab a spot!
I am very excited to be teaching at Pincecroft. The area is quite lovely, so serene and natural. We will be inspired to do great things .... and some silly things too. Hope you can join us.

I wish I could attend this!  I'm about 30 minutes from Pinecroft.  I remember going to Pinecroft as a kid with my parents.  It's a really wonderful area.

If anyone needs summer inspiration, Tony says there are a couple spots still open. I am busy coloring clay and getting everything ready for you all. Looking forward to making new clay friends.
