Ayessa
I was wondering about making decorative logs to go into a gas fireplace. What kind of clay could/would stand up to the heat? Any advantage low fire or hi fire? Could the log be glazed or should it be left unglazed? My old logs were just textured concrete. Thanks! Conniefi
i am using refractory slip for some BBQ's I am making. You could use that it should hold up.
neilestrick
A flameware body could work.
Ayessa
Thanks for the input and ideas. The studio I work at is low fire only-will either of these work in a low fire kiln?
