Coloured Slips

Recommended Posts

Im hoping for some suggestions on how to improve the colour intensity of coloured slips (without using a shiny glaze)

I want to achieve the (wet stone look) Ive always worked with sigilattas which im drawn to for there surface texture.

So im wanting to get a similar surface whilst using coloured stains?

You want to be looking up vitreous slips. Plenty of recipes for your relevant temp.I've used some, but not currently.

TJR.

Yeah I thought vitreous slips might be the ticket. Do they give a different surface than spaying a thin layer of frit?
