Bermudo88
Hi! I just fired a piece with terra sigilatta and V-387 I believe (Amaco Light Red) underglaze. I fired it to Cone 5 and it looks extremely orange with dark spots where the underglaze was thinner. Should I be able to reglaze my piece with another underglaze (Amaco Bright Red) with 2-3 thin coats and only fire it to Cone 06? I am just concerned that the original glazing will show through the bright red or that the bright red won't fuse to the clay body because it's been fired to Cone 5. Thank you.
