Glen Peters Posted April 12, 2013 Report Share Posted April 12, 2013 I bought a propane burner and wondered whether it would be appropriate for a small raku kiln (modified 45Gal drum) This burner is rated at 500,000 BTU/Hr. TJR Posted April 12, 2013 Report Share Posted April 12, 2013 Glen; You probably want to get a regulator as well from your propane supplier. Looks like a gauge about 2 inches in diameter. Screws into your tank, then the hose comes from that. Might be reverse threaded so go easy with the wrench. I agree with Neil. Have fun. TJR. Although this does state 0-70 psi I would be leary of one that had such a large range so fine .5 and .25 PSI adjustments may be hard.
