Shirley’s work includes both sculptural and functional vessels and a range of clays and firing processes. We had a long weekend of raku firing and I am still aching from carrying away the equipment from the school yard of the Municipal School of Music, Dance and Beaux Arts. I love the community support here. I wish my own community was so enriched. Our opening is next Saturday. Lots to do before then.
