Posted September 28, 2012 Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 Glass slumps at very low temps-I about 37 years ago tried to fire my own labels on beer bottles and all the necks slumped as well-So if memory serves its way below luster temps. I occasionally use glass threads, etc on some pots (decorative) and needed some help with temps. Started using a blog called "HOT OUT OF THE KILN'. They have a monthly newsletter as well. I do quite a bit of slumping. Just checked my firing log. Cone 015 with a 15 minute hold after a "fast" firing schedule.
