This two-day workshop is aimed at providing a context where personal, aesthetic and clay concerns can be expanded. Emphasis will be on individual resources for growth, group interaction, and design concepts for form development, glazing, and special raku techniques. Hand building and throwing demonstrations, multiple group activities, and individual motivators will be utilized to influence perceptual changes in thinking and ways of working with clay. Participants are encouraged to bring up to three bisque ware pieces to Raku fire on Sunday afternoon. http://www.piepenburgstudios.com/
* Participants will be able to take home work brought in to be fired.
*Workshop participants should plan to participate in group discussions and also bring a bag lunch each day, any photographs for inspiration and sketchbook(s).
