missholly Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 i know this subject has been talked about before, and there are a about a zillion answers. ive been working with a base glaze... ^06 90 3124 10 epk mostly stain colorants that are working out beautifully, except id like them to be slightly more transparent to be able to show surface decoration. is there an additive? secondly, with that same base, i got a turquoise glaze using... 1.5 copper ox .5 mang diox and im getting bubbles. i read that the mang diox might be the culprit. but im not sure what to do with it now. i have a 2500 gram batch (the initial test and the batch test came out fine) i tried refiring a piece to 05, but it didnt change. any thoughts?
