Christine
Please click on this and check it out A very pretty pot .... but I think it's let down a bit by the background on the photograph. Having spent such a lot of time and effort producing such a lovely piece, the photograph should enhance, or at least fairly represent it. Can I suggest you have a look at http://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-make-a-inexpensive-light-tent There are lots of other examples on the internet of making light tents as well as hints and tips on lighting etc. I hope you don't mind my suggestions Kind regards and the very best of luck with your endeavour Christine
CGALVIN3
Thanks for the help! Does this look any better? I bought a backdrop off amazon. Do you think i should bring the black down more?
StefanAndersson
Thanks for the help! Does this look any better? I bought a backdrop off amazon. Do you think i should bring the black down more? Much better! The fadingcould be higher or lower, atthis height it creates a line in the pots waist that might be bad for the experience of the pot. Personally I would like to se a soft soft shadow and maybe the camera a little heigher so that the rim is less a single line. Small changes so they might not make it apperently better. Lucille Oka
This is a much better shot. Your light on the right is a bit too much; detail is being lost. You could stand to crop just a bit on the bottom; just the smallest amount.

What a huge improvement! You're clearly learning very quickly and the great thing is you're also prepared to keep experimenting till you're happy you're showing off your lovely work to its best advantage - well done you!
