dar
Has anyone painted underglazes on porclean bisque and fired at cone 10 to use as a glaze?? What are their results in gas-fired reduction or electric fired kilm? dar
hansen
Underglazes aren't glazes, they are designed to go under the transparent or translucent glazes. Many will work at high cones, but it depends. I use a black Amaco Velvet Underglaze regularly, it is merely an underglaze (not satin or shiny) at cone 10 unless you put a glaze over it h a n s e n
