Sonia Consuelo
I have been working with clay for about 5 years now. I feel that my progress as a potter has been somewhat slow in comparison with others who have been taught in academic settings or by working with a professional potter. I have been taking workshops at Penland and Arrowmont the last few years and this has only fueled my desire to become a full time potter. Is anyone aware of where I might be able to find out about assisting/ interning with/ apprenticing with a studio potter in the South Florida area? I would very much appreciate feedback. Pres
Check with ICAN on this. If you are a member they offer mentors. I would think they might know of the other also. best, Pres
