You can also spray it with laundry starch or hair spray without causing any problem with overglaze decorating. I think that is easier than firing a sinter load. oldlady Posted July 17, 2017 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 oh, yes, i have had the same problem with some glazes. i found that drawing the line toward me instead of any other direction made it easier. and i was very glad to have a wire to clear the clogs that always seem to happen. But a strand of very fine copper wire from some multi-strand electrical cable does the job. My former studio mate use to strip the wire ties for bags and use that wire. It worked. oldlady Posted July 19, 2017 Report Share Posted July 19, 2017 lost another post, it would have been #6 so here goes. sputty, if you peel back the insulation on the electric wire and cut the extra wires but leave some insulation, you have a handle that makes the wire more visible. bright orange paint might make it more obvious in the piles of stuff that accumulate in any studio.
