Kaolinwasher
This is some of the lake superior sandstone , which is an awesome additive for porcelain. you can see the white wisps of kaolin & serialized feldspar. its also very easy to break down unlike the sioux quarzite. one porcelain recipe I have with this is 50% T-6 kaolin and 24 % mahivar and 32% lake superior sandstone with no bentonite or anything else problem is its to white for me but it thows like a dream . Kaolinwasher
Marcia, i use a hammer to get it to 1.5" then run it thru a jaw crusher and then sift it thru a 30 mesh screen and then ball mill it for 5 hours at 60 rpm with agate rocks of a size of 1/2" to 1" and then strain thru a 150 mesh screen
