Min
@Captured in Clay, It's just going to be a little more porous at cone 06 rather than 05. Welcome to the forums and good luck with your show!
dlarue
I have 20 year old slip molded greenware painted with Duncan/Mayco UNDERGLAZES that my Community Pottery Studio is BISQUE firing to cone 05. My question is, when I glaze the pieces, what cone should they be fired to? And what might be the repercussions? We do not KNOW the body of the clay, but if I can say , it's just basic SLIP, as used in "paint your own" pottery shop.
Chilly
Highly likely to be low-fire. No hotter than ^04.
oldlady
in the US, most of those places fire at 06 all the time.
