Convert This Come 10 To Cone 6

Is there an easy way to convert this cone 10 glaze to cone 6?

Try adding Gillespie Borate in 3% increments. Be aware that that glaze is way high out of limits for magnesium, and low out of limits in silica. Not what I would call a good or stable glaze.

If you are looking for a dolomite matte instead of trying to alter that ^10 one you could try this one that is formulated for ^6. For me it's too matte as is but if you do a line blend with a clear that fits your clay you should be able to get there.

The matte Min recommended is a beautiful surface and really smooth to the touch. It isn't good for inside of bowls are plates, but anything else its a real winner. I use it too. It also take stains and stuff well.

Thanks for the help. I'll try the gerstley borate line blend and it that doesn't work, I'll try other formulated for cone 6 recipes starting with the one from digital fire.
