Thermocouple Kiln Brick Factory

Hi m working in a brick factory we need to monitor temperature of kiln m using thermocouple but it stop working at 900 celcius

What should I do about it

Can you give us more information?  What is the pyrometer unit itself you are using?  Do you know the type of thermocouple that you are using?  Is the thermocouple connected directly to the meter or are you suing extension wiring of some sort?  If there is extension wiring, what kind is it?  What is the desired top temperature you wish to monitor?  And so on.
