Marcia Selsor
Here are some of my pieces I fired with a group at the Red Lodge Clay Centerhttp://community.ceramicartsdaily.org/gallery/album/1361-more-wood-firings/ I am very happy with the results Lars Voltz was the crew team leader. He wanted to fire it to ^12 and fire down to 1900 in reduction. This was done for a few hours after hitting ^12. The idea was to get more ash accumulation onto the surfaces. The rear of the train had more ash buildup than the front. unexpected result.

Marcia Selsor
I enjoy wood firing and working with a team. I try to do it whenever I can. Never fired a train kiln before. Interesting. Got John Britt's Golden Luster article beforehand and tried a few variations of this shiny and fired it in wood kiln. Got a lot of variation. Benzine
Beautiful work Marcia. I especially like the tall cup, clean design, and the glaze compliments it well. Some day I hope to be part of a wood firing.
