Potterymerchant
Has anyone done any shows in Florida by American Craft Endeavorers/Howard Allan Events? I am thinking of applying for one of these shows but they are expensive and I am definelty not rich from being a potter so I am concerned if it is worth it. If I do an expensive show It is only going to be worth it if I make a decent amount over the fees and expenses.
GEP
I've never done any Florida shows, or any Howard Alan events. But I know that Howard Alan shows have a much better track record with fine arts than with crafts. Their craft-focused shows are pretty new, and I'm not hearing very good reviews about them. Maybe somebody else here has more knowledge about them. If you're just starting out with selling, I wouldn't start with an expensive show. Find something more affordable first, and work your way up to bigger shows.
