Syoung22
This is just a gallery of some recently completed pieces of mine that I am particularly proud of. I am just in a mood to show off some things. I am 16 and have been doing ceramics for about a year and a half now. Feel free to comment/criticize, I want to see what people think. This is a link to the flickr stream, I'm not sure how to post pictures directly to here. http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/

So images we post on our profile are filed in the groups gallery- an ah 'ah moment! it would also be great to be 16yo and still have all those brain cells to work with!! I'm slow but I get there eventually
Syoung22
Sy... Liking IMG_0163 Some details? That was a project I did for my Ceramics 3 class. I made three cups of about equal size and then squared off one, made sort of "dimples" on another, and altered the rim on the last one. I used the same glaze on all three. Thanks for the compliments everybody! I use the mid-fire Dark Brown w/o grog clay from Standard and I fire in my schools electric kilns to cone 5, for anyone that wanted to know. phill
hey nice work! i loved the dimples you put in the cups. just a quick fyi - when taking pictures, try to have a muted or plain or simple color as a background, like a dull grey or black or white. it makes viewing the pieces a whole lot easier.
