terrim8
Anyone tried using southern ice with celadon glaze in a soda kiln? Is it still translucent? I've been googling it and saw some without glaze- just stayed white. Also saw what looked like translucent shino glazed southern ice but it just said reduction not soda. Marcia Selsor
Celadon will not be very greenish, more yellow because of the soda. If you use and iron red glaze, you stand a better chance at a celadon color in soda. just past experience talking. Marcia
