Hello all, We actually do have filters in place to block spam and they do a pretty good job. Our goal is to implement the best spam filters with the least impact on usability for our members. Occasionally, some spam manages to get through. It's the nature of the beast. Fortunately, our moderators are very diligent and do a great job of removing spam when it does get through. This is also a moving target as spammers are always finding new ways to game the system, so we are constantly re-evaluating and tweaking our filters.
