Zuni
I've used CMC Gum but by the time the second coat dries the flaking has begun. The glaze consistency is just a little thinner than medium. I wet the tiles first and use a damp brush. What am I doing wrong?
glazenerd
By nature, crystalline glaze is more flaky than granny's biscuits. An often used fixed is a dual agent glaze suspension/ glaze hardener, 50/50 EPK/bentonite, Clean the piece first, this can also cause that problem. Denice
When I glaze tiles I pour the glaze on them. I have a plastic box I put a rack in, cover each tile with glaze I usually use and plastic measuring cup with a spout. I let the tiles dry where they are. You can reuse the glaze in the bottom of the box, you might have add some water to it. Denice
