mygvsuccess
I'm hoping someone can tell me how this kind of glaze effect is accomplished or if this is glaze , these were advertised as ceramic plugs so i assumed the color on top is glaze and the sides look like bisque, please help, id love to replicate these colors on my pottery, it looks more like glass then glaze. thanks
Callie Beller Diesel
Ceramic plugs for what? Whatever that is, it's probably* not food safe. It looks more like slumped stained glass than a pottery glaze to me, but it can be hard to tell from just a low-res picture.
Mark C.
I agree looks like glass slumping not ceramic glaze.

perkolator
I'd love to know what it is too --- I think I've seen similar glaze all over some ceramic items I saw once at Crate & Barrel. They had it on big charger plates and I just stood there seduced by the depth and color, while trying to figure out not only how they did it, but how they also priced it so low!
