Hi Everyone!

I'm thinking about trying to make table lamps. So the ceramic part is easy.... But to buy, find parts to fox the shade to the lamp base, now thats not easy.

I have mainly trouble finding those lengthening tubes (dont know its name). There are many beautiful ceramic lamps with these tubes that fit, but have no idea where to buy them.

Is anyone making these kind of lamps?

thanks

I like National Artcraft. They have a wonderful supply of craft items at very reasonable prices.  I've done business with them for 35 years.   www.nationalartcraft.com

D.M. Ernst- try Grand Brass. I think you'll be amazed at the difference in quality, and their prices are good. Not as low as NationalArtCraft, but you get what you pay for. If you consider what you can charge for a lamp, the cost of parts is very low, even when the parts aren't cheap. This page has all the sockets. The first half of the page are their store brand sockets, which are the best quality I have ever seen. I use these on most of my lamps. The metal is considerably thicker than any other socket I've used. They're heavy and solid, well worth the price, as they will increase the value of your lamps. Plus you can get them in just about any color finish you need, not just gold or nickel.
