MikeFaul
"Graybeard"... What a great handle, reminds me of a t-shirt ad I saw on Facebook "Beware of The Old Guy", it had a graphic of an old man in a Tri Corn Hat who looked very tough and incredibly free. Welcome! There's also a private message system you can contact moderators or other members to ask questions if you don't want to post in open forums. flowerdry
Welcome. I happen to think that 68 is not old. Now go to your profile page and put a bit about yourself on there so we can get to know you better. And pictures of your work would be awesome! Girts
I agree wholeheartedly:68 is not old. Been there, etc. The thing is to enjoy where you are, and look forward to where you're going. At least, that's what I think. And I am also a new guy here - all of 4 days! Seems a great place to be, but don't tell the residents I said so...
Marcia Selsor
Welcome Girts. Here age is of little meaning since we all have a varying range of experience in clay. SO welcome to the forum. Also look at the videos on ceramic Arts daily, link is in the upper left corner. Marcia

ChenowethArts
Hey @graybeard welcome to the CAC forum...the best resource for great advice mixed with crazy-potter-artist humor on the planet. As @Marcia Selsor (and others) have said, age is no barrier here and, speaking from the white beard gallery, I will affirm that is true. Please take a few minutes to develop your profile. Folks with profile pictures and even a little information about themselves are generally integrated into the community faster. Peace, -Paul
Girts
I've tried umpteen times to add a profile picture, but nothing happens. I'm obviously doing something wrong - as a photographer this is so embarrassing. Or does it take time to develop? Like conventional photographs?
