ronfire
I was thinking of installing a controller to replace the sitter on my Skutt 1027-3 There are several options, the priciest is to buy Skutt's or some other add on controller. The other way is to purchase the controller, relays, transformer and thermocouple and build it in place of the sitter Or build it into a add on controller on the wall to keep it cooler use 1 -60 amp mercury relay Which controller do you prefer a Skutt or Bartlett V6-CF. Bartlett has a better price saving of about $50.
neilestrick
The Skutt controller is a dumbed-down version of the V6-CF. They've simplified the control panel to 3 speeds instead of 4, and made it a little trickier to get to the other menus. I would just get the Bartlett. No Longer Member
We've had problems with Orton boards and the company as well. No problems with Bartlett to date not to mention they are inexpensive.
ronfire
Is the Rampmaster 11 a Bartlett V6-CF? They have the same control buttons and layout just a different face piece.

Marvin Horn
Just noticed that Bartlett has posted a price of $329 for their new controller. An extra $110 for "neat and spiffy" might not be to bad if it also has some additional features.
