Pinterest is another good source for inspirations.

I'm always on pinterest looking for inspiration or creating my mood boards. I love it. Here's my ceramics board if you want to see! I'd love links to others too. :-)

Thanks for sharing your Pinterest inspirations.  I gather mine in several boards and post some of my own work every once in a while.  Always happy to follow clay community peeps:

Did you know that you can actually type in; "Stoneware glaze recipes"' and choices of recipes will come up?

Lots to test for this next year.

Happy New year!

I follow several pinterest pins. One of my favorites is cone 6 glazes, then there are pins that I have done of chalices and patens, teapots, and functional ware in general.  Then again, I have others that are ceramic sculpture and decorative pottery. I often find myself crossing ideas by considering textures form sculptural forms in thrown forms. Trying to de order my thrown forms for a more loose look that is not contrived.

best,

Pres

In the old days (like really old days), one gathered/found inspiration from walking through the woods, along the shores -- Wordsworth, Thoreau, etc. How far we've come. ;)

I still do that, but not at 2am when I can't sleep..................

One of my major breakthroughs of 2015 was developing organic forms. Visiting the cactus section of the organic gardens in Rome helped here.

.... noticed right away Marcia ... obvara firing seems to demand luscious organic forms to settle on. Can't wait to see where you go next!
