I was hoping you could help me with something. I just recently went to Lowes, and found myself a few Terracotta flower pots and saucers that I wanted to glaze. I brought them home and glazed them all with stroke and coat colors, and fired them at Cone 06. When we got them out of the kiln, they looked like this (Image is attached)​​ Any ideas why? Thank you! neilestrick Posted October 27, 2015 Report Share Posted October 27, 2015 I suppose it's possible that the saucers were treated with something to make them more water tight, and it prevented the glaze from adhering properly.
