Chris Campbell Posted August 31, 2011 Report Share Posted August 31, 2011 Handbuilding with Colored Clay Nov. 5 & 6th, 2011 Sawtooth School for Visual Art, Winston-Salem, NC http://www.sawtooth.org/ This hands-on workshop will focus on using colored clay and colored clay patterns in actual handbuilding projects. Learn to create specific images of your own, to laminate patterns onto white clay, and to create a loaf picture. Chris will bring colored clay and pre-made, Holiday themed, patterned loaves so you can make work for Holiday Sales or Giving. On Saturday, students will combine them to make new images. On Sunday, we will take these loaves and handbuild pieces to be fired later. Fee includes twenty-five pounds of cone 5 porcelain.
