Rex Johnson
I'm looking at a Olympic 2827G gas kiln on craigslist. It's set up for natural gas, but my studio is propane. They come from the factory pre setup for either. Are there orifices available for the swap? I've got e-mails in to all the dealers and I'm not getting a response on this question. Anyone know if these are available?
oldlady
you can sit waiting for an email forever. pick up a telephone, that thing old people use to talk to other people who aren't in the same room, and call someone in their technical support department. you will get an answer right then. no waiting. High Bridge Pottery
I can't remember if propane is smaller or bigger. If it is bigger could you drill the hole in the old one?

Rex Johnson
...well, wasn't sure I was getting the kiln til today so I didn't order them last week. I ordered them today and they'll be here in time for the weekend build. Olympic seems to be nice and helpful folks. That said, I'm handy with tools, so if I knew what they looked like I might be able to fab them from brass parts. Anyhow, it's a done deal. Looking forward to having a samll(er) kiln to do some glaze tests.
