happymelon
Hello, I am a big fan of ceramics and pottery but as a broke college students constantly moving in and out of apartments, it has been difficult trying to make anything happen. I had tremendous fun in my high school ceramics class and I recently remembered this project we did that did not involve firing. But I just could not remember what kind of paint we used for it. Below is a picture for reference. Can somebody please kindly tell me what kind of paint was possibly used for this? It was a very liquidy paint and all of the dots were done using tooth picks. I want to start doing things like this again, as it doesn't require firing and air-dry fits is way more convenient for my situation. I have tried Googling but nothing useful has turned up. Thank you in advance!!!!
Benzine
If it didn't involve firing, it's probably just an acrylic. If it was really liquid, it was probably a "craft" acrylic, which tend to be watered down.
oldlady
what was the basic "fake clay"? if you check out a website for that, you might find your answer. or, if really desperate, you could find your old teacher, say "thank you" and ask.
