Chilly
Anyone used acrylic stamps on clay? I've got rubber stamps and the hard plastic "cake decorating" stamps, but never tried acrylic. These are just the right size and style for the border of our tile mural - they will let me fit all 100 names around the edge, but I'm not sure if they will make a good enough impression! RoGryphon
I use stamps a lot since I can't draw. If they have simple lines works great. You can get an impression of the outline of the stamp but I rub those out.
Chris Campbell
In this case your font is more problematic than the medium. The upper case letters look fine but the lower case ones might get muddled looking with all the serifs ... a cleaner contemporary font might work better. I use metal letter stamps from a leather stamping set or alphabet macaroni ... my signature stamp is also metal but I don't see why sturdy acrylic would not work. Mark C.
I have about 5-7 sets all sizes made of rubber some backed with wood-some from printers some from ceramic supplys-I have had tham forever. I do not use them much-cat urns seem to be the most use. Mark
Joy pots
They should work fine, just remember they get moist from the clay so brush some corn starch over the surface of the stamp to prevent sticking. Joy
