Bones22
Hi everyone, I was just running low on my large stash of Majolica glaze (cone 6) that I had ordered from Glazemixer.com. Come to find... Glazemixer is gone!! Worst news ever! It took me a long time to find the right white glaze for my overglazes and decals and now I no longer have access to the glaze or even the recipe. Can anyone out there help? I've tried Horizon White but it ended up doing odd things in the decal firing. I just don't have time to mix my own glazes so am looking for a stiff white cone 6 glaze, or better yet, a way to find the recipe for the Glazemixer Majolica! Chantay
I think Laguna has a Majolica. You can probably order it dry. If you have a local ceramics supplier the may offer the service. Cost wise though, it would be worth it to mix the glaze yourself even just the one.
