Evelyne Schoenmann 264 Report post Posted July 13, 2015 Welcome to the forum GG! We are happy that you have found the way to the ceramic arts community and we hope to see/read a lot of posts from you! You could start in telling us a bit more about yourself, what kind of pottery you make, and fill out your profile. If you have already pictures of your work that you can put in your gallery that would be great. Every Tuesday is a new QOTW (that's: Question Of The Week) in the Potters Council operation and benefits section, and I hope to see you there. I am sorry you had an accident on your way home. I hope you are all right! Happy potting Evelyne
ggoodman 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2015 my work is mostly functinoal cookwear/dinner wear. As a result of helping me with the controller my friend wants to attempt to make a green egg varriant. I have exsplained it may be easier to buy one, but he is willing to buy the clay and pay the bill so i'll post on that when we get there.

synj00 24 Report post Posted July 13, 2015 Welcome aboard! I'm up in NE Georgia. It seems like you have some great knowledge of building and DIY! A lot of potters get very creative with re-purposing items and scrounging for parts and collecting bric-a-brac for their studios (I know I do!). I hope to see some of your projects! And of course your pots

Pres 1,627 Report post Posted July 14, 2015 Welcome to the forums. When doing a search, best to be outside of any specific forum. Use keywords as much as possible. Searches can also be done at Ceramic Arts Daily for videos and daily topics. Lots of info, great community, and all levels of expertise and skills. So enjoy, and Welcome to the forums! best, Pres
